    Nilgai attractants ?

I'm going to go look at a lease saturday that has nilgai running threw it. I know they don't come to feeders so what other attractants or feed can I put out to attract some nilgai's. Also does anyone know when is the breeding season for nilgai's? I'm pretty sure I'm going to get on this place just need to see it first.

Breeding season is mid January thru February but can breed year round.

I've heard alfalfa works, and buddies with gravity protein feeders have trail cam pics of them eating out of them.

Best bet is a dung pile next to a fence crossing

Other than that, your grouchy old man suggestions are duly noted

Ok kool hopefully this place is as good as they say it is. If I get on that place I plan on putting game cam on a dun pile. This place is over by willamar in willacy county has anyone hunted this area.

They are thick around the Tenientes tract off of 186. I know of someone that has 15ac just east of the tract. He's got them at his protein feeders. I'm hunting Tenientes Dec 15-18. I'd love to get a Nilgai. Good luck.

If you like to fish, I'll tell you of a place there in Willamar that has some big cats.

Just plain protein feed like antler max or lissy & Eckel
