    Ruger 10/22

    Thinking about buying a good dependable 22LR rifle. Saw the Ruger 10/22 at Academy for $189.00. Mainly gonna use it for coons, small critters, plinking with for my grandson. Hadn't bought a 22 in a long while. any suggestions. THANKS!!!

    You can't go wrong with a 10/22. All kinds of ways to customize those things if you get the notion.

      Put an old K4 weaver on it and you are ready to kill a lot of critters.

            Do it......like Stryker said you can customize EVERYTHING on it to your own taste. I just put a decent little rimfire scope on mine and called it a day...Ruger already nailed it with the 10/22 so I didn't want to mess with the winning formula. I don't get to shoot it much anymore but I will never get rid of it.

                  my semi ruger 10/22 has an AR kit on it. looks sweet. but my bolt action ruger is a tack driver. love rugers. good choice.

                    check your local pawn brokers before you buy one lots of unique styles out there, look for an older model they are truer tac drivers less safety junk on them, i had a fluted bull barrell on mine. just a plain sweet shooting gun. goood luck on your buy post pics lol of it.

                            10/22 s are the best had mine for prolly 15 years many thousands of bullets down the pipe still shoots good and accurate
