    Lost a doe!

Would be my first bow kill. Hit her in the shoulder and got barely any penetration. She ran off with the arrow and I found no sign of any blood to speak of. I hope she makes it if not I guess the coyotes will eat good.

I shot a cull buck several years ago with a certain BH and he stepped back just as I released and hit him in the shoulder. Not much penetration and never found hum or blood trail. I changed to a cut on contact and two weeks later same deer came strolling by and he went into the freezer.

I shot a doe on October 8th and hit high and a bit far back, almost dead center and about 2 inches under spine. Followed blood until it ran out and never found her. My arrow popped out after two bounds from her and I only got about 5 inches of penetration. Best news is that I got a video from my sister yesterday of a doe standing in her pond and licking her side. After watching the video and seeing the wound location and that it was only on her right side, I'm sure that is the same doe. So she has made it this long and will probably make it until the next time I get a chance at her. The same could be said for your doe.
