I had this buck come in Saturday morning, along with a couple of others. He was 20 yards and broad sided. I just knew this was going to be easy. I put the pin behind his shoulder and let it fly. That's when everything went crazy! As I released I heard a crazy noise and could see the edge of my jacket fly up. I couldn't even tell you where my arrow went. I know better than to do that. The day before I removed my jacket just before the feeder went off to prevent this from happening. I thought about it but seeing as how it was a little cooler Saturday morning I thought to myself, "It'll be okay." I even had the stupid thing unzipped.
The buck ran about 5 yards, thought about coming back, but before I could get another arrow he walked into the brush and never returned.
While you are laughing at me, give me a score. I'm thinking about 120.
