ladder stand - what do you wrap around the frame to quiet down accidental bumps?

I usually hunt from a gametamer chain on stand and it's not a problem because there is nothing around me to accidentally bump my bow on. This year I decided to try a different area but bought one of those 2 man Game Winner ladder stand. I took the front rail off but the sides are still there. First hunt in it I bumped my cam on the side as I just got settled in. Since then I've been very cautious but was thinking of wrapping it in something like a tennis racket grip or bike grip stuff. Any other suggestions?

Try the foam pipe wrap stuff from Home Depot. That's what I use on my climbers.

You can get replacement paddings for the railings at bass pro, I believe. I'd call first.

Too late this year, but after season spray with bedliner.

Thanks. I'm probably not doing anything this year to it. I can be careful. It's a 2 person stand and probably next year I'll have my son join me and it will be more needed then. He'll be 7 next year.

Leland, zip ties and black foam pipe insulation. Works like a champ and will last multiple years. Heck, you could take it with you on your next afternoon hunt and be finished in 5-10 minutes tops.

And I wrap it with camo duct tape.

Thanks. I'll probably try that one morning and do it when I climb down. I have 2 big bucks showing up there just after dark so I'm kind of hesitant to make any changes.
