Shep came up to the farm last night with his dog Cowboy and his brother, to let me test drive his dog.
I put them both in stands hunting does and I went to a tower blind hoping to shoot a hog to test Cowboy on.
Had 2 grown hogs and 5 football pigs come in well before day light and chow down on the hand thrown corn.
I finally decided I could make out the outline of one of the grown ones and whacked it. The lazer nock didn't light but When I climbed down my arrow was gone so I'm sure I hit it.
It is the first critter I have shot myself here at Big Oak after a solid year of working getting the place ready.
I will let y'all know how the trail works out in a couple of hours.
PS they were straight down wind. It apears Snake lover was right about the Ozonic machine
