    Flooring Oppinions Needed

I'm about to have roughly 2,000 square feet of hard wood floors installed and curious if their is anything I need to look for, ask about make sure and or have done. I'll be doing the rest of the house in tile and I've dealt with plenty of that so I'm good their.

Make sure they leave enough room on all sides for expansion/contraction. 99% of all flooring installers know this, but i have seen a floor buckle with my own two eyes, and i promise you- you dont want this to happen!! I'm sure they'll do it, thats all i could think of at the moment...

The key is to make sure they bring the wood in and let it acclamate to the house for 24 hours before installing it. If not this will cause big problems down the line..

Take moisture readings of the bare floor, and make sure the floor is level

Glue down or nail down? Go with solid wood if budget allows.

Looking at glue down solid wood, the nail down is going to make the flooring to thick for my liking.
