Mathews Bows

I have shot most of them and I like them all. My oldest son has a Q2XL that is simply awesome, quiet, smooth and a great shooter. I asked him if he wanted an XT that I had and he said no, he never shot a better bow than his. If your looking for a good used bow you my want to give the Q2XL a try... I probably like the original Switchback the very best, also smooth and very quite like most Mathews the animal never knows where the arrow came from. I have an Ovation that I'm selling that is a good bow with a forgiving 8" brace height, the only hold back is ATA is 40" in a 30" ATA world, lol. OK, sales pitch I know but try a few different models and see what suits you the best. If you ever make it to the Houston area you're welcome to shoot a few of mine and decide for yourself.

I have had several of them, I think my Z7 may be the best that I have had so far.

IMO, the MQ1 was their best bow, and I sold mine like a dummy!

I wish I still had MQ1 but I do really like the Z7.

My 2 cents,I use Z7mag.& my son's use Z7,both do a good job.All three of us are very
pleased with our equipment.

I have only shot a few Mathews bows. Loved my switchback! Tried to buy a new model for like 6-7 years and none seemed to be as sweet as my switchback... Until I shot the Z7extreme. Bought it on the spot!

It will probably be 6 more years before I ever buy a new one IF I ever buy another new one. Will never get rid of my Switchback either!

If your on a budget, find a used Switchback or Dxt and you won't be disappointed!

I have owned a number of bows through the years, and now down to just two. Drenalin and a Switchback. they are the best I have had and I prefer my Dren to any of them, fantastic accuracy, smooth easy draw, quiet and the speed is good enough.

Love my Z7 extreme but my favorite is my MQ1. Money in the bank bow. Just a pleasure to shoot.
