Good deal alert...
I went to Gander Mountain in Tyler yesterday- killing time between hunts. They had their Guide Series 1.35HP meat grinder on sale reduced from$179 to $79. It has the fine, medium, and coarse grinding plates and three different size stuffing tubes. Thought it was a heck of a deal so I had to get one. Thought I would pass this on.

update: Just got off the phone with gander mt. and they said it is a guide series brand; 1.35 hp but puts out .3 hp ( I don't understand and he couldn't explain it) will grind 2.6 lbs. per minute and on sale from 179.00 to 99.99 today only,
Is this a good deal or not?
Trying to decide if it is worth going out to get it.Comment

Bobby...I bought this one last year and ground 5 deer, made sausage, chili, etc. It is great. Not sure about that .3 horsepower thing. Doesn't make sense.Comment
