    ? problem with feeder

Pulled up to one of my feeders today to find about 200lbs of corn on the ground. About every minute the spinner would make a 1/4 turn and drop a little corn. Do you think the fix is in the motor or timer. (old motor, cheap timer)

Or a ghost?!?!?! Where is Scooby Doo and Velma when you need them?

Definitely a timer issue, and easy to fix.

When the battery gets low it will do this. Just went through this with a friends feeder last week. Its the first thing I would look at. His had about 100 pounds of corn on the ground from one night and he installed a hot battery and it solved the problem.

Well, I just had to replace a motor because one of mine was doing a similar thing. I changed the timer and the exact problem re-occured. The motor had gone bad and was back feeding from the timer. Once I replaced the motor, all was good again. When it started happening, I KNEW it was the timer, WRONG in this case. Good luck

i'm gonna say timer, but check it with a volt meter and your should have the answer
