Who hunts closest to a fence?

Without cheating LOL. Who currently hunts out of a blind less than 10 yards from a fenceline?

I do. My pop up is around 8 yards from a fence, maybe closer. I need to measure the exact distance Sat. I shoot away from the fence and have killed around 6 deer from that spot. Only one jumped a fence but it was a different fence over 100 yards away.

I have never seen anyone hunting the ranch this place backs up to. Heard one gunshot out there 5 or 6 years ago and that was it.

We got a tri-pod that the back leg is less than 2 feet from one of our fences. We are real good friends with the neighbors and try to manage our places together (both places total close to 600 acres combined) so they dont care and if they had one we wouldnt care.

On the other hand though one neighbor has his box blind right on our fence and he is a brown its down guy but the funny thing is the deer will run up to that fence and take a 90 degree turn and go away from that stand lol.

I have a tripod that backs up to a game fence. The s/w wind blows from me to the fence. In the last seven years I've had one deer go between me and the fence which is 10 feet away. Yes he winded me! Anytime you can use a barrier like a game fence or a pond it helps.

the whole hunting a fenceline is a sore subject to me. If you are hunting deer on your property and not shooting them mid air while crossing the fence i dont see a problem. If your neighbor harvests hay and a rain pushes his seed to your field are you not allowed to cut it and bail it? kind of a rant sorry.

I have a ladder stand about 15 feet from a fence but there is no way to see to shoot in that direction.

My blind is about 10 yards from a High Game Fence. It sure is fun to see big whitetails, Red Stag, Audad, and many other exotics come within 10 yards from me. I do get some good pictures too. Now if I could just figure out how to get an animal out of there before I shoot... haha just kiddin

We just set a big tower blind about 200 yards from the neighbors fence, and now we decided to move it next season becuase we can see down one of his roads from it.

I have a tripod about 5 ft from the fence. The trees are so thick I can not see on the neighbors property.
