I picked up a Northern Tools #12 (1/2 HP). It does a great job and it's about 100 bucks. They keep the price down since the housing is thick industrial grade plastic...not stainless but...the motor and grinder parts are as good as any in your price range.

Checked the online reviews before I made the purchase....seems everyone who reviewed gave it an ALL STAR rating. Several here use them.

176lbs of meat per hour. Found I need to use a lot of ice chests to catch my grind...it does a great job quickly!
