Courageous Study

I know that there has been much applaud regarding the movie, and I agree.

Our church is doing the study that goes along with the theme of the movie. WOW, extremely humbling.

Being a "good" dad/husband, just isn't good enough anymore.

But, much like the theme of the movie, its requiring a great deal of courage to face the shortcoming and character flaws. Being honest with yourself is frickin' hard.

Anyone else doing the study?

Going to see the movie this week. Ive heard it is good. Have a friend of mine is a pretty rough dude said he cried through the movie. Dang...must be pretty emotional. Interesting reviews....I see where 93% of the people who saw it loved it...and only 23% of critics liked it...hmmm..do I smell Liberal critics?

I am! Man it is tough! The movie really hit home HARD! My son is a runner and video game fan, just like the movie and well...... I will just say it was very humbling for me to realize all my short comings as a father!! But, I'm STANDING UP! Not a easy thing but I don't want to be just good enough!!! Men of TBH go watch this movie!! With God ALL things are possible!!

Even if you find yourself not to be "Religious" or of "Faith" get this movie and watch!!!

I just sent my daughter off to college and when I went and saw the movie I was wishing I could rewind the last couple of years for sure. I'm still working being better now even though she is already off on her own and being a better husband as well...

Courageous is the name of the movie. Its produced by the same folks that did Facing The Giants, & Fireproof.

Its basically challenging men to stand up and be courageous in all matters, that we have a duty to lead our families.

There is a Bible study associated with it.

Mary and I went to see it and it was sold out..on a Thursday night at 8:45! SO, I bought the book and read it last week. I'm still going to see the movie...but it is definately moving and eye opening. It definately made me wish I had some of these years back.

Yep! ^^^ To all the big tough guys (especially with daughters) this is a very touching movie!! I had "bad allergies" during the movie! Not doubt!!
