Cold front hunting

I wish I could be there... We have the weirdest rule I've ever experienced on our lease. Can't hunt the weekend before gun season for "cooldown period."

This is just about the best weekend of bow season and I've got to sit out... No fun.

Not weird at all to the gun only hunters on your lease and I'll bet whoever made up the rules is a gun hunter. Wouldn't bother me one bit as long as I knew the rules going in. This is coming from a guy that is bow only.

Going to try and make it to hunt Friday morning. Our deer don't move well in high winds at all so I'm not too worried about trying to make it Thursday.

Thursday through Saturday should be great times to be in the woods. Moon is right, strong front pushing down. I wish I could be at the lease.

Make sure to be in the stand ahead of the front and behind it as well. Should make for some great hunting.
