what's the best way to pull up T-posts?

i'm tearing down a dog pen to make a couple of hog traps. got about 18 t-posts in the ground that i need to get up. they've been in the ground about 3 years, so they're pretty solid.

what's the easiest way to get them up by hand? i starting digging them out with a shovel but then i quit because it was hard and i'm lazy.

all recommendations welcome.

They make a t post puller. I think I seen them at tractor supply. Or a chain and bobcat bucket.

Floor jack and chain!

A T-post puller works best, but if you don't have one a high lift jack and a chain will do the job.

how do you rig up a floor jack?

Soak the ground around the post with a water hose. Really saturate the ground. Work it in a circular motion and then pull it straight up. I recommend a front-end loader and a chain though.

I just walk up to them...grab them...and jerk them right out of the ground while growling.

take a a two handed metal post hole digger, "straddle" the t-post with the handles where they connect to the blades, squeeze together and pull up!

I've had good success with a short piece of chain wrapped around the post and attached to a bumper jack. It's not fast, but it works.
