Biopsy results are in
Got a call this AM at 8:30 from the Dr and she informed me the biopsy came back positive for prostate cancer. To say I was stunned is an understatement.
Called my Dad first so I could get him to tell my mother. He prayed over the phone with me. That was a comfort.
Called my wife who had floor duty at her real estate company and asked her to come home. She knew. She got home, we cried together.
We went and visited with our pastor for a little while. He was very upbeat and encouraging.
My daughter knows already, my son does not yet. Waiting for him to get off work first.
We of course have many unanswered questions. We won't know what the treatment options are until a cat scan and bone scan are done to determine if it is still localized. We will be doing those soon. I think the unknown is the scariest thing about this deal.
