Bear is very good but it's like anything else, if you cook it wrong it isn't worth a darn. Looks like yours will turn out good.

Finished product.. Potatoes carrots and cabbage. Some may not like the cabbage but me and fiancé love it.. Verdict is in......... Fabulous!! Much like elk roast very tender alittle gamey but very very edible!

Looks great. I got a package of bear shanks out for dinner this week. I think it's incredible meat. Not too gamey, nice and tender.
