My very first deer! Thanks for posting up for me, Larry...
I was strangely calm - until after the shot! No feeling like it. I'm addicted. I shot him at about 15 yards. He dropped face first, and with his back legs, he shoveled himself about 20 feet before he laid over.

I am also VERY afraid of heights... BUT, I faced that fear today and shot him from a tree stand. It was a 15' single ladder. Larry was up on the lock on above me. Probably as high up as I will brave, for now...




Ava wanted to take pictures with him...




Then, she wanted to practice her "BOW FORM." She also practiced her "GUN FORM."
