If you had to pick one breed for a deer dog???

The successes from everyone this weekend has got me really interested in training another dog. I have a lepard female that was pretty good 10 years ago, but she is older now and hasnt done it in quite some time. I have a friend that is going to breed his border collie with a blue lacy, that seems like it would make a good deer dog. What do you all think?

Sounds like your buddy might have some smart pups. I love my lacy and my catahoula, but I just got them. I think a lot depends on the individual dog and the lifestyle of the owner.
