I have owned both, like the costas better....until you break em. costa repair was 90 bucks, maui jim sent me a new pair no cost. that was a few years ago. not sure if maui jim still does this.

I like the MJ's better. Fits great, great glass and great customer service.

I have had costa since the mid 90's and still do and love them. From the cr39, wave 400's, and now the 580's. I tried the Maui jims on and thought the lenses were awesome, I personally just did not get the MJ's because I did not find a frame style that I liked. I have some friends that swear by them. Good luck, whatever you get will be good glasses.

Costas with 580 lenses are hard to beat! Have had some for 4 years and still look brand new!

I am on my 3rd pair of Maui Jims and will not own another brand. I tried 2 different styles of Costas and did not care for them at all

I have 4 pairs of Maui Jim's absolutely best glasses I've ever had. Also had one lens crack after owning couple of years sent in for repair with $68 dollars for a new lens, They sent me back a brand new pair and my check for $68 said they were covered under warranty, No Charge! My waife just got a pair of Black Rock Maui Jims and she loves them.

I love MJ's and have had several pair.

I love MJs, never owned Costas simply because I never found any that I thought looked good on me. I used to only wear oakley I tried some MJs and never looked back regular wear at any other brand.
