best video camera for filiming hunts under 500$????

anyone have any opinions? Any brands or models that I should stay away from? Any info is much appreciated, I had a great 3.5 8pt come in this mornin and my iphone camera aint worth a dang......didn't even get a good still pic of him at 12yds I want to start filming all of my hunts........any suggestions?
