I went to the ranch yesterday to do some pig and predator extermination but my bro only scored on a song dog. Any ways i ended up going to try my other property in Freer in the AM. for the same only to find my water station on the floor (tank still salvagable). Went to Freer deer canp to see whats new and right off the bat i could smell sweet srawberries. I ended up buying a deer candy jug and some B&B or (brown bag) stuff i have a hard time finding but works real well for me. Anyways i set up a camera on each just to see which would get hit the most as a field test. Really looking forward to see the results in 2 weeks and will post of course.

Bought some a few weeks ago and here's my review.
Put it in feeder that has consistently been drawing does and fawns, occasional bucks. No change after a month of pics.
Put it out at new location with feeder where no feeder has been in years. One doe on camera in a month (yes, there are more deer in the area). I will say the feeder jammed after the first week, so there was not corn being thrown, but quite a bit of the buck candy was also distributed on the ground at the same time the feeder was set up.
I have also put it on corn to hand throw at a stand with no feeder. In this instance it is in a main travel corridor and I was interested in seeing if the odor alarmed the deer. It did not, and had several deer within 10 yards along with pigs that came straight to it (no corn had previously been put out at this location).
My conclusion- wouldn't purchase it as an attractant as it didn't work for me- but it surely doesn't alarm the deer or pigs and as strong as the odor is it may work well as a cover scent. It does smell pretty, too.
For info purposes, one location was Parker County (established feeder) and one was Hamilton County (new feeder).

I put Buck Candy in all 3 of my feeders and the deer are tearing up the dirt all around my feed pens. I have never seen this in 7 years of being on a lease in this area. It almost looks like they are digging in the dirt. Also, the small shrubs and bushes i poured the BC on are all torn up. Seems to be working for me and I will tell you first hand that the customer service from Buck Candy is 5 star! I have no reason to not keep using it.
