Draw-stop peg popped off....

as I was drawing back on a doe Sunday afternoon. The doe ran off and blew like crazy, not knowing what the popping sound was and ticked that doe blew and stomped I just climbed down. After looking at my bow I noticed that the bottom cam on my Hoyt CRX 32 looked different than I remembered, but I couldn't put my finger on it. It wasn't until I Googled a picture that I noticed what it was...the draw-stop peg is missing, I haven't drawn it back since this happened.

Has anyone ever had this happen before...planning on going to West Houston Archery in the morning. When I look at the bottom cam...it no longer looks like this...



Anyone have any idea how or why this would happen?

Vibrated loose. They are usually just hex/allen screws with some rubber around them. Definitely something that you want to check occasionally.

Noted...nothing a little loc-tite won't fix? Now I just gotta hope they've got an extra one lying around.

Was par for the course....had 9 or 10 cows that somehow made it past the fence line and into the woods...just so happened to be bedded down right next to my stand and didn't leave until 10 or so...then had two stray dogs that busted a doe and tall tined 8 point out the woods to my right and behind me where I didnt have a shot, then they hung around for awhile barking at any and everything, after that deer wouldn't come anywhere close to me for a couple of hours.
