CVA Accura 2. Very accurate and not expensive. Load up with Blackhorn 209 powder and 250 gr. bullet like a Barnes with a sabot and you've got a winning combo.

I thought I wanted one until I had one..kept it for a couple months then sold it here.
Thing I hated was all the cleaning you had to do.. The powders are corrosive so after each time you shoot it you have to take it all apart and scrub the devil out of it. I dont have time for all that with little kids. You really dont get much yardage out of one and you cant exactly unload one without shooting it. Just wasnt for me.. Id have my wife buy me a nice rifle instead.
I have a TC. Omega composit stock with Thumb hole SS barrel .Beautiful gun put a Nikon BDC. SHOOTS GOOD 250 yrd

I have been shooting traditional black powder muzzle loaders for some time now. I've had them all it seems. It just seems to me that Thompson Center can't be beat. I hunt with a Thompson .54 cal and my personal favorite is a Thompson Black Mountain .50 cal. Between bows and muzzleloaders I guess you could call be a bit of a traditional hunter. Makes hunting just a little more fun to me.

Thanks for all the great input.. I want to hunt October (Bow) November December (Gun) and (Bow) and 15 days of Muzzel loader.. I want an inline type more modern looking with a scope.. my eye site is not that good anymore.
Cleaning is not a big deal as I clean all mine often.. shot or not.. just to remain familure with them and ensure that are service ready if I pick it up on a whim and go out to the woods.
