my first was memorial for the Aggie Bonfire collapse in '99 on my left shoulder. The letters under are a phrase my Bonfire buddies and I used alot and meant alot to us.

The next is my son's handprint at 3 months on left side of my chest. This was taken from his actual handprints we made.

The last is a memorial for a miscaraige my and I had.

The only advice I will give is to make sure it is something you will continue to like. I waited a full year from the time I had a finished design until the first needle hit my skin just to be sure I wouldn't want to change it. And don't go with the cheapest artist, go with the best. It will cost more in the short run, but can save money in the long run. I had a friend who got a tattoo at half price from an apprentice. Long story short, she had the needle to deep and he passed out in the chair. He ended up having to spend twice as much getting a real professional fix is and it still looks like @#$! for all the scar tissue in it!

Dang I was going through this thread and saw my post about my tattoo! Totally forgot I had one!

I got this one about a year ago... It reads...

I know when I posted my first one a few pages ago, I was saying I wanted something new on the other side. Genesis 27:3 stuck out to me, and had the bow hunting side of it. I did it smart though, because I'm sure most of y'all know it's an addiction, so when I get ready to another one, I need to go get the "genesis 27:3" added to it. Here it is.. I use my tats as art work to explain or express a moment/interest/decision in my life that I don't want to ever forget, rather good or bad. And tats are addictive by the way.
