    feral pigeons !!!!!

last week I was doing some work around my feeder / stand areas and saw some pigeons flocking around my area...........before I knew it, they made a couple circles and made a crash landing in the corn under my feeder !! I wish I had my shotgun with me. They pecked there butts away gobbling whole kernals and almost cleaned up before I ran them off. I must not have done a good job cause they just did a couple more circles in the air and came right back, lol . They finally got the hint when I got my bow and knocked an arrow , guess they saw me aiming and decided to leave for good. Makes me wonder how much they come around ???

You gotta start shooting them or they will never leave for good. They'll be back daily like clockwork.

You might try the decoy thing. I had them coming to my parrot cages and they would show up every day both morning and evening and sit on the wires waiting for me to feed. Heck, I was trapping them and selling them to a dog trainer, and although they would get trap shy they still showed up every feeding.

You must protect the golden nuggets at all costs!

Good luck! Let us know how it works out!

We had an owl decoy at the church and they landed beside it and started up a conversation. Had a rubber snake and it didn't work either. Scared the bejeevers out of us when we decided to close in the backside and cut them off. Nobody told us the snake was there, 12 ft is too high to find a rubber snake.

The decoy will work ya just can't leave it in the same place all the time. If they do have a conversation with it the next one they talk to just might have lunch with them.
