Seems reasonable. I am sure it is a preference for each person. If 4 - 5 is the earliest you can get there in the afternoon because of work, then it sounds like the perfect time.
I don't hunt usually hunt mornings per my agreement with the wife, but I typically try to get into the woods with at least four hours of daylight left for my evening hunts. Allows for plenty of time to sneak in, get situated and let things calm down before they start getting off their beds.
