There several options out there, McMillian, Bell Carson, HS Precision to name a few. Make certain to check the screw spacing before ordering to insure that you get the right stock... There are other options, you can bed the Savage stock at the action and locking lug. You can take it one step further by bedding a stainless rod down the channel of the stock, this will stiffen the stock up and keep it off the bipod. The Savage factory stocks do leave a lot to be desired but the options that I mentioned will improve your accuracy quite a bit, not to mention the money that you will save by not spending $250-$700 on an after market stock. Good luck...

What you NEED to do is measure the distance between the stock mounting bolts to determine which generation of savage you have. 4.275" SA stacked feed stocks are Gen 2 and can be found everywhere. If it measures 4.40" (4 3/8") centerfeed, your options are limited and expensive. Another way to tell is take the action out of the stock, and see if the magazine is in the stock(Gen 3) or attached to the receiver(Gen 2). sharpshootersupply is one of the few out there who has them in stock for Gen 3.
With mods to the stock, you can make the Gen 2 work, but its not as nice. boyds gun stocks has directions on how to do it.
