Bow Practice from 40' up

If that hill wasn't over there i could. I used to hunt pigs across the road from his ranch. Been on it a few times since I have a friend who manages the ranch for him. He's got some awesome animals on there. He even has a shoulder mounted giraffe in the guest house. It is sitting on the floor and looks like it is standing in the basement with it's head sticking up through a hole in the floor

You couldn't whup my arse 40' up anything. It's hard to shoot a bow when your laying on the floor of a bucket shaking like a school girl.

im good to about the 20' mark then its kicking and screaming time.

I work out of this truck everyday and used to it now. When I first started I was holding on to the sides with a death grip, especially on those central texas windy days!

just camo the bbucket truck and you will have a mobile hunting setup.:d instead of waiting on deer to come to you, you can have someone drive you around with the bucket at full height. on a serious note that is freaking up there.

I hunt a lot at that height. E Tx tall pines with no cover... Those 20yd shots are TOUGH. If you don't practice you will miss.

yea i miss being able to put the ol man on a tall, slick pine and go as high as you want to,. around here it's hard just to find a tree without limbs and straight enough to even get 10' up in it. Started ground blind hunting so I could set up where I could get a shot.

NO way in heck ill climb 40' in the air. I have a bad habit of falling asleep. And when the harness catches my fall it wont stop the hart attack coming next.
