Broadhead recomendations!!!

I have shot thunder heads for awhile now, and know alot of other people that shoot them as well. We all like the thunder heads never have problems. I was thinking about trying the rage broadheads, but half the people i talk to say they suck and dont ever open. Then the other half never had problems, so i had mixed feeling about them. So if you have anything you would like to share abou the broadheads, please do! And if you know of any other broadheads you recomend!!!

I just used blood runner this last weekend and blew through a mature buck's front shoulder. He didn't run 50 yards. I'm sold.

I've killed a lot of pigs and deer with the Rage2. It is my expandable of choice. I like Slick Trick Magnums as well.

Thunderheads are hard to beat. I am one that will try a different BH almost every year and last year and this year i am and will continue to shoot the Smoke Ramcat. It is going to take a vey good head to get me to change heads from the Ramcats, but I will keep looking and trying new heads that tickle my fancy. Next year I will try the new Radian from Arrowdynamics and this year I hope to connect on a few pigs with the new Wasp Z Force (thanks Rocky) to see how they do on a big feral. My go to heads will be the Ramcats though.

I'm not saying the rage is bad, but the blades broke off entering the rib cage of a large bore on me. I am currently shooting the montec with no complaints

I'm with you. I'm trying the Rage due to the mixed reviews. I guess the only way to know for sure is to try them yourself. From what I can tell more people prefer the 2 blade over the 3.
