Who puts their pop up out the morning of the hunt? The reason I'm asking is this morning I went to my tree stand and put my dad in a blind on the high line for a shot at a hog, he seen a huge 10 point and I checked the camera and he has been there everyday this week at the same time. I was wanting to set up on the feeder in the morning to try and get a shot on him. Any suggestions?

Killed my 1st P&Y 45 minutes after setting up my pop up on a trail........Trail had lots of activity and I thought why not set up a pop up here.......best decision I made that year......

This has been my experience as well. I think as long as you play the wind right your odds increase.

Alot of the time, the first time IS the best time. Brush it and watch wind. Also, don't cut the brush in the immediate area.
