We just made a 5lb batch of javelina carne guisada and it was very tasty. Even BurntOrangeBowhunter approved of it

anything will taste good if you mix it like that. i still would not throw a piece of meat from a javalina on the grill and eat it.

Good eating… case ‘em, split ‘em down the back and slather ‘em with a good BBQ sauce, then slow cook 'em over a nice bed of hot mesquite coals till the meat starts fallin off the bone..
