Upon further searching we found some more blood near the river. The deer had gotten into the water and drowned. His body floated down river and on to the adjacent property. The land owner would not give us the deer and kept the horns for himself. I am really eat up about it.

I think that he and the deer feel into a deep pit were they still are waiting for someone to find them. He tried to get on TBH on Monday night to contact us as a last resort but the phone died just as he was logging on .... So there they await!
