I shot this buck 2 years ago. He only went 50 yards but it was straight through the thick stuff. There was blood 10 feet high, I walked past him piled up 3 times. Just to show you how hard he was to spot

Good luck on finding him.

I once shot a buck and took me 7 hours to find him. There was just a few drops of blood and eventually gave up on him. I was walking back to the truck and as I stepped over a log in some thick nasty stuff, I almost stepped on him! He was only 40 yds from where I shot him lol.

Good luck, I've had this happen on a doe...ended up she got to cold water and it sealed the holes. I found her, but she quite bleeding once she hit the river.
