lost more than half of a deer today

I opened my garage door to check my deer out and went inside long enough to grab my knifes and a few pots so I could cut up my deer and take it up to the house to do some grinding. When I returned about 10 mins later to the garage I had three dogs chewing on my deer. I have officially had it with the neighbor hood dogs and going to look and see what I can legally do and cannot do. I am sick and tired of having stuff taken from the yard or spread all over my yard and stepin' in someone else's dog !@#$. That doe was my first doe of the year and the tag cost me $25, I am going to have to kill atleast 2 more deer to make up for what the dogs ate of my deer. I usually plan on three deer a year to help feed my family. It made me pretty mad when I paid $12.50 for two sets of backstraps. We are not poor but it sure helps out when you are able to eat all of the deer you kill.

send the dogs owner a bill for your deer

I would start sending them bills for anything that they tear up. I would also send them bills for anything of theirs I had to clean up. They will likely not pay, so once the total gets up to a certain amount. Take them to court for the damages.

Most neighborhoods nowadays have some kind of regulations regarding pets. I would look into it.

I would also call the pound anytime they get into my yard. After they pay a few pound pickup charges, they may start getting the idea. If you have talked to the owner and they are not willing to work with you, then I would even go so far as to try to catch the dog and take it to the pound. Then let your neighbor know about it.

As far as the old poop in the yard thing, I once had a neighbor with Danes. Those big *******s would crap everywhere except the owners yard. I asked the owner on many occasions to handle the issue. He never did. I did everything I thought I could do and nothing worked. I finally had enough, and one night and a few too many beers found me on his front porch with my drawers down around my ankles. I took a nice big steaming pile of **** on his front porch. He finally got the point, but he bad news was that our neighborhood patrol caught me in the act.

And last but not least, buy a bigger dog than your neighbor. Every time they get home with a bunch of groceries, wait until they take the first load in then sick your bigger dog on the bags left in the car/truck. Every time you take your dog for a "walk", make sure he goes in your neighbors yard. Make sure you wave at him when you are doing it. If he takes his garbage to the curb, make sure you "accidentally" knock the lids of the cans, and let your dog tear up his trash.

If all else fails kick the crap out of them!

Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, I just hate people who do not know how to take care of them.

I like dogs as well, but not dogs that run as if they are free ranging. I have kids and know our dog is safe with our girls but other dogs I do not know how they act when I am not around. Just the other day my oldest daughter came in crying and she was all scratched up from a neighbors dog jumping on her. I am sure she could of been playing rough with it. She doesn't know any better she is six and our pup is the first dog they have really been around constantly. I didn't like it then and do not like it now. I have chased the dog out of my yard, shot it with a BB gun(pumped twice), beat the crap out of it until it ran out of my yard, and still my neighbors do nothing. I am hoping one comes over and says that I am out of line. Of course when this happens, no one is home or pays attention. I tried looking up the laws here in Indiana about it but got no where. If someone could help me out I would be very thankful. I live in rural Rockville, In. outside city limits.
                  Thanks,

Set some deer meat out in your garage and sit in there with a .22 LR with the Super Colibri ammo (extremely quiet) and shoot em

Well you always collect a few fresh piles of #$#@ and place them in a small paper sack! Then wait until dark and go over to the owners house. Place the paper bag next to the door and set the top of it on fire. Ring the door bell and run like hell. When the guy comes out he will try and stomp out the fire, and I am sure the $#@% in the bag will help.
