Confidence is everything

at least it is to me. I've been battling myself on a few things over the past few months when it comes to my setup and hunting. I had switched arrows a while back due to the reccomendation of an archery shop. I know better than to just go and switch things up like that but as many of us do, we hear of the latest and greatest things and go and try them. I went back to my original set up, arrows and BH's and am drilling tacks now. Another big boost is I went and got glasses. My right eye has a condition that causes a lot of blurryness and it's only getting worse. Now I can finally see my pins without the halos and such. Feels good to be confident in my shooting again

i hate wearing them, but glasses do make a world of difference.

I switched arrows a few months back for the same reason....I will also be going back to my old setup...new arrows just didn't feel right

Confidence in your equipment and your ability to use that equipment will go a long, long way to making a great shot on any animal. Without that confidence you are going to have doubts about your ability to make that shot when it presents itself.

I know exactly what you mean, I recently purchased a new assassin with a lighter draw weight than my drenalin and rigged it out the way I wanted it and my confidence level is through the roof, the lighter weight allows me to shoot far more comfortably. I think the HHA single pin has been a God send personally, my groups are far tighter at farther distances then before, never thought I would be practicin daily at 55yds!
