If you're bringing young kids with you, the Texas State Railroad is doing their Charlie Brown Pumpkin Patch ride right now. Ride the old train to a Fall Festival and pumpkin patch set up on the tracks 20 minutes away or so. Food, corn maze, etc. Fun for the little kids, but I might pass if it were just you or you and your bebbe. That's all I got.

No kiddo this trip, though I may have to go back for the Polar Express.

Found a B&B (Magnolia Inn) that looks good, now need some local flavor advice.

I'm not a local but I like the el toro Mexican restaurant that's there across from tractor supply and near the walmart (I believe it's on the loop) if anyone knows a reason why I shouldn't eat there anymore please don't tell me :-)
