Well I hunted with my dad growing up and he smoked, ate peanuts, crackers and made all kind of noise and we still kiled deer every year.

One of my good buddies killed his first deer with a cigarette in his mouth... anchor point on one side, cig on the other...

I don't smoke but I use to have lease mates that smoked in the stand. I loved it. They complained about how there were no deer and I saw 10 or more deer everytime I went out. Their theory was they were 15+ feet in the air and smoke rises.

I smoke when I drink. Don't drink and bowhunt though. I've drank a few in a rifle stand and came up with every reason in the book why I oughta go ahead and fire one up, haha lol

My father in law smokes the whole time he is in the stand. Its never seemed to affect his luck, i just keep my tobacco fix in my bottom lip!
