Bowhunting drives me crazy!!! I've had a pretty bum season so far and I've spent more hours in a stand than at work this past week and can't seem to make anything happen. The wind is terrible this weekend in wimberly I've been winded today and yesterday morning before daylight I'm using scent control and hunting from a ground blind the wind is just swirling through these hills. Yesterday I watched 5 bucks and 3 does at 80 yds for 2 hrs which sucks. This is my last weekend to hunt for awhile and really need something to happen, all I want is a cull or doe I'll worry about my buck come rut.

Quit whining! Ive seen 4 deer so far since the 1st! Hopefully that will all change next weekend!

I haven't seen any deer...or hogs for that matter. Seems that they moved for 3 months.

Hey bro, keep with it. I was skunked my first year. Second year 1 doe. Last year 2 doe & 1 buck.
This year, about an hour ago I got a medium size doe down about 50 yards from me. Then a larger one winded me.
It will happen. Little windy here to, but I'm up 15' so it may be helping.

If all your looking for is a kill and not a hunt then maybe your just not cut out to be a bowhunter.

Go back to useing a gun. They're easier.

Were on the same boat. I got game cam pictures coming out of my ears but i haven't seen a single warm bodied animal in three years!!!!!! I hate to say it but I'm losing faith here.

It took me seven years of bowhunting before I stuck my first deer and about nine before I finally got a buck. If you love to hunt all you can do is try harder.

Hang in there, brother.........if it were easy, everybody would do it. I had a nice buck directly under my stand yesterday evening......I could've spit on him......but I couldn't get a shot. It's very frustrating, but the love of the hunt is why i'm a bowhunter. Our season has been open 1 1/2 months and I've yet to get a shot opp......It'll happen.
