Need the GS's Help..Kayak/Trolling motor mount

I am looking to customize a mount for my kayak and have narrowed it down to one of these. minn kota mk33 motor mount for pontoon boat. However, I cant seem to find one.



i dont need this exact mount, just something similar. Any help is greatly appreciated.

what type of kayak are you going to mount this trolling motor to? also, just fyi, when you mount the trolling motor to your kayak, you have to register your kayak because it will now have a motor on it.

Im trying to get this setup and registered by friday. (they do the registrations every other week, on fridays) lights and everything are not an issue

ocean kayak malibu two xl tandem . there is no mount out there besides the bassyak mount for this kayak. However, they do not sell the bracket by itself. And to buy with the motor is ridiculously expensive. ]http://www.bassyaks.com/about23.html

Im worried about the strength of the plastic in the back, i did some work on it tonight and decided that a few back plates will work. i have the foot controls mocked up, just need to cut the pedals out and mount them.

i still need this bracket. i found it on ebay for 90 bucks.

Good luck to you...i dont know much about that yak and mounting a trolling motor on it because most of the people i know that have done this have the cobra fish n dives
