What type of feeds are you guys putting out there to bring them in?? And will pigs run the deer off if we are putting corn out? We have a pig problem but yet when we go out no-pigs.
if no chance of rain(HAHA) put you some sweet feed out and climb a tree with semi auto rifle or shotgun and shoot the heck out of them. have to do it every sept but they leave us alone till spring for the most part after we kill about 20 or so.
you can catch hogs in a square trap, i have caugt as many as 23 at one time in one that was 4x8 i brush mine in good and put corn and sweet feed in them for a week or so with the door tied open and then set it one day and it is usually full.
One of the best attractants for hogs is corn and Big Red. Pile up the corn and pour the Big Red over it. That sweet smell will bring 'em in and it's way nicer to work with than soured corn.

Set up a feed pen as if you were to keep the hogs out but have a door that can open or close and have a trip wire under the feeder leave the door open for awhile and let them get use to coming in and out then set the trap and you could range from getting one hog to up to 30 or 40 works very well.
If your traps are the small cage style, you are wasting time. The cattle panel style are the way to go! TPWD and other sites have good models on how to build and they are cheaper than the others.
X2. Or put up short corral around your feeder to keep em out. Tpw says 26" will keep out a pig! That's a cattle panel cut in 1/2.

we use normal corn and sometimes sour corn. the deer dont seem to be skiddish on the game cams, but other than that i dont really know if the spook the deer or not.
