2 doe and 2 fawns just came in they were really spooky

Two bucks just walked up in my neighbors back yard.

I had 3 shooters come in but wouldn't commit then ran out of light the were all 3 really nice the wind was just not perfect

Better luck next time. I live 7 miles north of Weatherford and hunt up in Paradise. I like hearing the reports close to home.

Went to my place after work and put out a
big live trap for the coons, I'm ate up with 'em. I'll be checking it out tomorrow. KAC.

Well I'm settled in jumped a decent 8 on the walk in I didn't think they really bedded over here much I'm on some trails in a semi open area between the beds and water I'm hoping one will wonder by I don't really know the deer on this side i had never seen that 8 before but I figured it's worth a try cause most of my favorite setups are for a north wind like were I was last night the wind was marginal I should of stayed at home those deer knew something was up but there is a 7 point over there that I think is like at least 7 or 8 and he has been strolling threw there some evening he is huge bodied but antlers are going down hill he is kinda a legend around here though

I've got coons like crazy to they drive me nuts they tease me on the trail cams lol catch some of them rascals

Ya I just started back roping again it was to dang hot this summer and no deer here yet it's windy and the fire ants are eating me up but I like this I'm having to work for one the last 4 years I have shot one on opening morning
