Just a reminder for everyone to check your fences. I’ve seen a lot of livestock getting out of their pastures lately. I think it’s because of the drought loosening already bad fence posts. This morning when I got up I had a horse eating left over hay out of the bed of my truck. It belonged down the road to a woman that’s animals are always getting out of her pasture. I’m tired of dealing with her so I let animal control handle it. It would be a nasty accident if a horse or cow were hit. Check your fences for loose posts.

The animals are leaning on fences trying to get what little bit of weeds or grass is on the other side and with the ground being so dry the posts are loose. I know I've watered a few of mine just so that my gates would stay latched.

Seen a few dead cows on 29.
A few counties are open range. They are loose execot on farm to market and high ways.
