    Grip tape for bow?

My wife has a PSE Chaos and it is hurting her hand when shooting. I can see how it does because it is a square grip. Question is if there is anything to use around the grip like baseball bat grip tape or something? Thanks

I would suggest horse wrap from Tractor supply, I've had great results with it...

Some people also use athletic wrap tape, or you can try raquet tape.

Walmart, go to sporting good's and get some tennis raquet handle tape.

I'm interested in how she is gripping it to cause pain?
proper form dictates that when at full draw..only the meat between you thumb and index should be anchoring on the grip?
(i have a problem with proper form most shots ..so dont take this as expert advice..)..but if she was attempting to do that..where's the pain?

On my wifes bow we used the same stuff used to wrap a baseball bat. Seems to work pretty good and is holding up well.

That is where it is hurting. She has soft hands and when she is done it almost looks like it is bruised there. I will try the tennis racket tape. Thanks

I shoot with a Limbsaver wrap around my handle instead of tape. I use to use the tape that they use for tennis rackets but that slipped some. The wrap that I use also insulates my hand from the metal of the bow grip on those very cold days.

This is what my wife has on her Chaos and works very well for her. She tried the wrap and this and preferes this...Of course she didn't put it on the front of the riser...Poor form has nothing to do with the pain, it is the metal riser and hands that have little meat on them...

How about bar tape for a bike? All different colors, alot of it is made from cork, works for my road bike and theres alot more time on the grips than on a bow...

My wife's Chaos hurt her hand as well, so I cut some neoprene (from leaky waders) to fit the facing of the grip area under the shelf and used rubber cement to glue it in place. It didn't take much and it works just fine for her now.
