    Behind the Pine Curtain

    Hey folks,

Would like you East Texas Bowhunters to post your "East Texas Deer Photos" here. Just trying to see what the average buck killed with a bow here behind the Pine Curtain is. Please post if the deer was taken in a "restricted antler" county or not.

    Thanks!

I have not shot this buck, but he is the smallest of three bucks that I have seen from my stand in on the Neches River in Polk Co

i took this deer this year and here are some pix of his buddies! from 12 years of hunting in texas, public land except for the last 2 yrs, these run on the larger side, but i am on 1500 acres w/10 hunters, archery only, that has a river bordering 2/3 of it so i think they got it kinda easy with us. this is a no antler restriction co. i've hunted by texarkana alot and seen a few bigger than these but mostly smaller due to high hunting pressure i think-and smart deer too! i can't wait ubtil the restrictions get to my place!!

Is that this year Michael? Heck of a deer! I don't know what broadhead you were using but whatever it was, that buck didn't stand a chance!

Is Waller County east enough for you?
