Anybody in the Alice, Tx area?

I just moved to Alice to work for Halliburton and I brought my bow & target with me to keep my practice up. Unfortunately, I'll be living in an apartment so my options for places to set up my target and practice are somewhat limited.

Is there anybody down here that knows of a big enough area or a place I could head to so I can practice from time to time?

Is there no one in Alice that shoots? I'm just looking for a place to set up my target and get some practice in from time to time.

Anybody in the general area? (Corpus might be a bit of a drive depending on my work schedule.)

I live in Sinton a good a hour or so away. Don't know if any tbhers live in Alice.

Sure you can find a spot next to the pay ground to fling some arrows

I've found a few vacant fields that look promising w/o neighbors on either side to worry about, but I don't want to have someone think I'm "hunting" and call the cops. I don't really know anyone here so I dont want to get into trouble.

You can try Tejas archery club out here in Calallen. $50.00 a year and you have walking trails with targets from 10 to 80 yards. About a 45 minute drive from Alice. Join at Clydes Archery in Corpus. I go there quite often and take the entire family for exercise. It's only about a 5 minute drive for me.
