Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92 is the most accurate handgun I've ever been around.I can't say the same about any Glock I've ever put rounds through.But the Glock would be easier to conceal.

Note one of the comments to the video from an Iraqi War Vet claiming magazine issues from sand particles with his Beretta M9 (military version of the 92fs). I understand Beretta now sells sand resistant magazines specifically for desert use that supposedly help with that, but I have no experience with that issue.

Others mentioned the PX4, and I almost bought one after handling it. Only reason I went with the 92fs is because of its history with the US military, but I would seriously consider getting the PX4 next time around.

Accuracy is somewhat moot imo. I can consistently hit a coke can at 20 yards with my glock. Could I do better with " " gun,maybe. In a high stress situation, probably not. Glocks/xd's might not be accurate, but they are accurate enough, easier to operate, more concealable, and arguably as or more reliable than any pistol out there. Glock for me

The Beretta is a nice duty weapon, but not so much a CCW.

my 2c.. if you carry against your body and sweat , you will want the glock . I have not cleaned any of mine in years and they all work and look like new ... the Beretta needs to be cleaned and oiled or it will rust . 99% of game warden I've seen on lakes carry glock .search youtube for glock torture test and you'll see what they can take and keep on going .

i've got pretty pistols , but my glock is the one I take out everytime .. the beretta feels like it has less recoil though..

here's a hog I shot from 62 yards with the glock 20 in 10mm .. i've also shot my 10mm glock at a full size IDPA steel plate as a dare .. two shots at 100 yards off hands , both hits , then one shot hit at 200 yards shooting on the ground on my back rested of my knees.. also hit ... I'm sold on glock!

I put my glock away for the Springfield XDM 3.8 40 cal. It's capacity is 16+1 and the 9mm XDM's capacity is 19+1. The 3.8 is just as accurate as my glock 21 believe it or not.

I absolutely love mine, but it is too big to cary concealed in my opinion. Otherwise, it is my favorite pistol.

My personal preference was the Beretta over the Glock for duty carry, but I think both are great, high quality hand guns. It's sort of like, which is better, Hoyt or Mathews?

my personal preferance is the springfield XDM but if thats not a choice i would go with glock only thing about glock is they not much safty besides the trigger have seen photos of people shooting themselves in the butt with concealed carry holsters hitting the triggers on glocks. thats one reason i have a XDM

Get the Beretta if you want a range gun or a home defense gun.
They are a pleasure to shoot.

If you are going to carry it more or abuse it some I'd go for the Glock.

I just bought a 92SB compact model. I bought it cause its been around a long long time, they shoot well, not alot of blow back like a plastic pistol. Ive never been fond of da only. I prefer to have a hammer that I can operate manually. ummm it holds 15+1. (full size model) I was watching a stainless model on gunbroker that just sold for 575$. I priced them at the gunshow this weekend at $619 in stainless. I also have their "bobcat" in 22lr. great little gun. It'll fit fine under a sports coat with a pancake holster.
