It was a good time but it was way hot and the run was not there ..... There was was chaising on Tuesday and Wednesday when it was cool but it was in the 80's when we got there on Thursday..... I am going to try and get up there for 3 days in December....

Albert did have a 130+ 10 pt come in behind him about 15 yards but could not get turned in the stand for the shot...

I am sure the rifle hunters are going to bang the heck out of them this weekend....

Hunted just north of Stillwater this weekend. It was hot and windy, but got a doe on Saturday night and a 9-point on Sunday morning. He had a 10 pt frame, but broke off G4 and G5 of his right side, but had a cool kicker. It was my first bow buck, so I'm pretty proud of him. I'll post pics and story later....at work now.

Sorry to hear it X. Maybe we can meet up in December. I will be there next week (with gun) so hopefully the rut will be better. Last year, the first saturday was the best day of the year. Chasing, coming to horns and moving all day long.

We will see.
