Yes sir, there are...

There's a lot of those bucks that were killed by a man that passed away this May. My best friend that I grew up with, his dad. Known him since I was 5 and I'm 37 now. He was my 2nd dad and we're all gonna miss him.

One in particular is one we call 10X10. Walter (the man that passed) claimed he saw a "monster" 10 point. He's one of these guys that parks next to the steps on his stand, leaves the door open so he can smoke and wouldn't sit still. Well, Walter shot this "monster" 10 pt. He brought it back to camp as proud as if he'd killed a 200" deer... This deer was 1.5 years old and only 10" wide! I'm gonna make SURE that rack is never lost!

You said it If I was at home I'd gather some pics from my old camp on Lake Sam Rayburn. My Paw Paw was a permanent fixture poling a fire, playing 42, or drinking a beer... Or all the above I sure do miss him come hunting season. Deer camp was WAY more than where you slept while you weren't hunting, it was where you learned how to be a man from some of the best men to ever pull on a pair of boots! Awesome thread Chad

This is the only picture I can find right now. The small morgan building on the left is the sleeping building and it will sleep 6. The building on the right is the kitchen building with over/cooktop , fridge, and microwave oh and our gigantic table made out of an old church door. The building in the background is the bathroom building with the shower toilet and ice machine. We also have a big deep freezer there on the covered porch between the buildings. There is also a cleaning shed but you cant see it in this picture
