    Texas Drought through 2020?

I definitely hope he is wrong about this.

It's all a guesstimate at this point. I mean, this dude has got to come up with something ya know? We started going into below average rainfall in Texas ever since Hurricane Ike came ashore back in 2008 so that would make 3 years leading up to where we are now. Have we seen the worst of the drought? Nope, I don't think so and I also don't think it's going to stretch into 2020. I believe something is going to give sooner than later but that might not be till next year.

The author is an Aggie. J/K The drought will last as long as God says it will. One thing this drought has caused ... besides devastation of crops and such ... is lot of prayer by lots of folks. Many people have sought His face and many, I'm almost sure hardly ever prayed. There has been scattered rain, sure and of course we need more. The children of Israel cried out to God in times of disaster and wars. As a country we have been no different. Did God cause this drought? No. Our Father does not. He allows the natural progression of climate and weather to take their course. Did global warming cause it? Perhaps. Can God end a drought? Yes He can. Can He send rain and it wasn't even predicted by weather persons? Yes He can. We had a 20% chance of rain today for our area. We got more than that by His grace. Keep on praying, brothers and sisters ... I know God will hear us. Thank you Lord Jesus. I'm praying for all of us too.

Totally agree on how long this has been going on Johnny. Watching this from rural Madison Co. it was easy to see that this didn't just start.

weather experts... they get it wrong 80% of the time for a 3 week outlook, but he's got it pinned down until 2020?

                  RIGHT.

All I know is we are one day closer to the next rain!! Use to hear the oldtimers say this when I was a kid and someone would ask when it's going to rain.

This was also supposed to be among the most active hurricane season ever, with a good number making landfall in the US.

These people don't know what's going to happen in 2012, not to mention 2020.

                            lol.....

Hope this guy is wrong about it lasting until 2020. I won't take him serious though due to the fact that as mentioned before professional weather guys to don't seem to be that accurate.
